Revalidation of Urewera Salmon, 1938 (Collembola, Entomobryidae, Entomobryinae)
New Zealand Journal of Zoology, Volume 53, Issue 3, September 2026.Here, we revise and revalidate the endemic New Zealand genus Urewera Salmon, 1938 stat. rev., providing a new diagnosis and assigning 14 species to the genus. The type species, Urewera fuchsiata Salmon, 1938 comb. rev., is redescribed based on type material and additional specimens from other localities.

The influence of cutting height on arthropods in farm grassland
Insect Conservation and Diversity, Volume 19, Issue 5, Page 1124-1139, September 2026.Mowing at a cutting height of 13 cm slightly reduced the immediate negative impact of mowing compared to mowing at a height of 7 cm. Medium‐term effects overrode this benefit: the number of vegetation‐dwelling arthropods remained strongly reduced two and four weeks after mowing, regardless of the cutting height.
