Terrestrial Arthropod Responses to Arctic Cryosphere Degradation
Changes in Arctic snow and ice are impacting terrestrial arthropods—for example, thinner snowpacks alter phenological synchrony and soil fauna survival; thawing permafrost increases decomposition, and glacial ice loss leads to the disappearance of adapted specialists; sea ice decline will have many indirect impacts for arthropods.

Plant Phylogenetic History, Not Diversity, Drives Insect Biodiversity Across South Africa's Biomes
ABSTRACT Aim Insects provide essential ecosystem services, but there is a concern that insect abundance is in rapid decline. Identifying trends in insect biodiversity is challenging because we lack baseline data for most biogeographic regions, and most insect species remain undescribed.

Abundance of Collembola in Biopore Infiltration Holes Filled with Organic Waste and Animal Waste
Garbage and flooding are environmental problems that need attention. One solution to dealing with organic waste and flooding is the creation of biopore absorption holes (LRB). Organic waste can be processed into compost with the help of soil animals such

Water relations and drought sensitivity of Folsomia candida eggs (Collembola: Isotomidae)
Drought tolerance of juvenile and adult life stages is relatively well understood, but very little is known about the tolerance of eggs to drought in this group of animals. The aim of the present study was therefore to investigate the water relations and
