Flagellar sensilla of some colletidae (Hymenoptera: Apoidea)
International Journal of Insect Morphology and Embryology, 1977Abstract The distribution and surface structures of the flagellar sensilla and setae of Colletes cunicularius (L.), C. similis Schenck and Prosopis communis (Nylander) are described. Sensilla found are: s. ampullacea, s. basiconica, s. campaniformia, s. coeloconica, s. placodea, s. trichodea A, B, C and D, and also several forms of setae.

A New Species of Hemicotelles (Hymenoptera: Colletidae) from Peru
ZootaxaWe diagnose, describe and illustrate Hemicotelles misti Anaya, Huanca and Packer n. sp., from the slopes of the Misti Volcano in Arequipa Province, Peru. The new species represents a range extension of 1500 km from the nearest confirmed locality for the genus, in Central Chile.

Revision of the Xanthesma Michener (Apoida : Colletidae)
Australian Journal of Zoology, 1969The genus Xanthesma Michener, 1965, is revised. Eleven species are recognized including seven which are described as new: X. argosomafa, X. dasycephala, X. lasiosomata, X. lutea, X. parva, X. trisulca, and X. vittata. Keys that enable the separation of all species are presented.
