Centrifugal Force Boosts Self‐Assembly of Gradient Lattice Photonic Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
This article uses chemical synthesis to prepare size‐controllable SiO2@Fe3O4 core–shell nanoparticles and applies centrifugal force to obtain the arrangement‐controllable gradient photonic crystal. During the self‐assembly process driven by centrifugal force, Brownian motion can be neglected, and the distribution state of nanoparticles can be ...

A Numerical Strategy for Achieving Efficiency Exceeding 32% with a Novel Lead‐Free Dual‐Absorber Solar Cell Using Ca3SbI3 and Sr3SbI3 Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
This study develops a highly efficient, lead‐free perovskite solar cell featuring a dual‐absorber system composed of Ca3SbI3 and Sr3SbI3, with SnS2 as the electron transport layer and Spiro‐OMeTAD as the hole transport layer. The proposed double perovskite structure exhibits outstanding power conversion efficiency of 32.74% with a JSC of 34.17 mA cm−2,

Tailoring Second Harmonic Generation via Strong Coupling in a One‐Dimensional Photonic Crystal Heterostructure

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
The strong coupling is investigated as an effective method to modulate the second‐harmonic generation (SHG) in the defect mode and Tamm plasmon resonances. Throughout the entire anticrossing Rabi splitting process induced by strong coupling, the difference in SHG efficiency between two resonances can be modulated by up to two orders of magnitude ...

Scintillation Response of 0D Cs3Cu2I5 Thin Layers to Light‐ and Heavy‐Ion Irradiation

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
Driven by increasing interest in uncovering the remarkable photoluminescence quantum yield of Cs3Cu2I5, polycrystalline thin layers are synthesized to investigate its radioluminescence response to energetic ions. Its spectroscopic capability is assessed in a wide range of ion mass and internal excitation processes are explored.

Hierarchical Learning for Robotic Assembly Tasks Leveraging Learning from Demonstration

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This paper presents a hierarchical learning approach for robotic assembly by integrating Learning from Demonstration with Deep Reinforcement Learning. The method enables long‐horizon assembly tasks with minimal demonstrations and without explicit task descriptions, improving adaptability and efficiency. It reduces reliance on predefined task sequences,
