Area‐Selective Atomic Layer Deposition on Homogeneous Substrate for Next‐Generation Electronic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates a self‐aligned passivation approach for grain boundaries on ZrO2 surfaces using area‐selective atomic layer deposition (AS‐ALD). Selective deposition of Al2O3 onto ZrO2 grain boundaries effectively enhances dielectric performance while tackling leakage pathways.

Sandwich Miura‐Ori Enabled Large Area, Super Resolution Tactile Skin for Human–Machine Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sandwich Miura‐ori based tactile skin achieves large area sensing and super resolution, due to the interactions between different cells. It can also decouple external loads because of the special deformation mechanism. The curved tactile skin can be installed on robotic arms and achieve straightforward control and interactions, showing its great ...

Nuclear Translocation of S100A9 Triggers Senescence of Human Amnion Fibroblasts by De‐Repressing LINE1 Via Heterochromatin Erosion at Parturition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that the classical secretory protein S100 calcium‐binding protein A9 (S100A9) can translocate to the nucleus upon de‐phosphorylation at Thr 113 in human amnion fibroblasts at parturition, where S100A9 induces heterochromatin erosion through segregation of the heterochromatin maintenance protein, resulting inLong Interspersed Nuclear ...

Vessel‐On‐A‐Chip Coupled Proteomics Reveal Pressure‐Overload‐Induced Vascular Remodeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A vessel‐on‐a‐chip system is developed to replicate both physiological and pathological vessel cyclic stretches. Proteomic analysis reveals pressure‐overload‐induced vascular remodeling, including cellular response to mechanical cues, cellular oxidative stresses, ER stress, and ceramide biosynthesis activation in the vessel‐on‐a‐chip system, well ...
