TRANSLATIONAL ENTANGLEMENT BY COLLISIONS AND HALF-COLLISIONS
International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2006Here we aim at setting the principles of and quantifying translational entanglement by collisions and half-collisions. In collisions, the resonance width s and the initial phase-space distributions are shown to determine the degree of post-collisional momentum entanglement.

The article discusses controversial research that suggests individuals who suffer repeated concussions, such as football players, may be at risk for a distinct type of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Topics include a brief profile of former U.S.

Visually guided collision avoidance and collision achievement
Trends in Cognitive Sciences, 2000To survive on today's highways, a driver must have highly developed skills in visually guided collision avoidance. To play such games as cricket, tennis or baseball demands accurate, precise and reliable collision achievement. This review discusses evidence that some of these tasks are performed by predicting where an object will be at some sharply ...

Corner collision implies border collision
2001This paper analyses a so-called corner-collision bifurcation in piecewise-smooth systems of ordinary differential equations (ODEs), for which a periodic solution grazes with a corner of the discontinuity set. It is shown under quite general circumstances that this leads to a normal form that is to lowest order a piecewise-linear map.

Collision of Rigid Bodies. Multiple Collisions
2002In Chap. 7, the contact of two deformable solids was investigated. It was seen that it is difficult to describe non-smooth evolutions involving collisions because shock waves appear. The wish to have both simplicity and efficiency is difficult to fulfil when dealing with collisions.

By now, you’ve implemented quite a large part of the Painter game. You’ve seen how to define game object classes by using the prototype mechanism. By using these classes, you gain more control over how game objects are structured and how you can create game objects of a certain type. You separate these class definitions over different files.
