Nanoscale Mapping of the Subcellular Glycosylation Landscape

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using multiplexed super‐resolution imaging with fluorophore‐labeled lectins, this study reports intracellular glycosylation at the nanoscale across organelles and synaptic specializations. Extending glycan analysis beyond the cell surface, Glyco‐STORM reveals distinct glycosylation nanodomains in the ER, Golgi, lysosomes, and synaptic sites.

The recurring collocation of vreiðr and vega in Old Norse poetry

open access: yesManuscript and Text Cultures
Poetry in early Germanic vernaculars exhibits variations on a metrical form predicated on a pattern of alliterating stressed syllables linking two halves of a line (in contrast to syllabic metres in which scansion requires a fixed number of syllables ...

An adaptive isogeometric analysis meshfree collocation method for elasticity and frictional contact problems

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, 2019
A collocation method has been recently developed as a powerful alternative to Galerkin's method in the context of isogeometric analysis, characterized by significantly reduced computational cost, but still guaranteeing higher‐order convergence rates.

Hermite spectral collocation methods for fractional PDEs in unbounded domains [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
This work is concerned with spectral collocation methods for fractional PDEs in unbounded domains. The method consists of expanding the solution with proper global basis functions and imposing collocation conditions on the Gauss-Hermite points.

Enhanced Photocatalytic Wastewater Purification and Bacterial Elimination via Copper Ion Irradiation‐Induced Modification of BiOCl

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a copper ion irradiation method to achieve the modification function of BiOCl. By using high‐energy ion beams to introduce impurity ions inside the material, the intrinsic electric field of BiOCl is optimized, promoting the separation of photogenerated carriers and enhancing the photocatalytic activity.

Sensortoolkit—A Python Library for Standardizing the Ingestion, Analysis, and Reporting of Air Sensor Data for Performance Evaluation

open access: yesSensors
Open-source software tools designed specifically for evaluating and reporting air sensor performance are limited. The available tools do not provide a means for summarizing the sensor performance using common statistical metrics and figures, nor are they

Physics‐Informed Deep Learning Method for Real‐Time Multi‐Harmonic Beamforming Based on Space‐Time‐Coding Metasurface

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This work proposed an unsupervised physics‐informed deep learning method of generating space‐time‐coding metasurface coding patterns for arbitrary single‐ and dual‐beam requirements at each harmonic. This method is specially designed for the coding pattern design task of multi‐bit scenario, and it can effectively handle the optimization trouble caused ...

Computable error bounds with improved applicability conditions for collocation methods

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1998
This paper is concerned with error bounds for numerical solution of linear ordinary differential equation using collocation method. It is shown that if the differential operator is split in different operator forms then the applicability conditions for ...

CrossMatAgent: AI‐Assisted Design of Manufacturable Metamaterial Patterns via Multi‐Agent Generative Framework

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
CrossMatAgent is a multi‐agent framework that combines large language models and diffusion‐based generative AI to automate metamaterial design. By coordinating task‐specific agents—such as describer, architect, and builder—it transforms user‐provided image prompts into high‐fidelity, printable lattice patterns.

English language students’ productive and receptive knowledge of collocations

open access: yesExELL (Explorations in English Language and Linguistics), 2014
The importance of collocations in second language learning has been recognized in the past few decades. There have been numerous studies in L2 acquisition research that investigated how the knowledge and use of collocations at different levels of ...
