Reconstructing the late Pleistocene glacial history of the Cairngorm Mountains, Scotland, using paired cosmogenic 10Be and 14C

open access: yesJournal of Quaternary Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Chronologic and geomorphic evidence of past glaciations is largely recorded in areas at relatively low elevation and/or landscapes defined by high glacial erosion. As a result, data from areas that did not experience significant glacial erosion and the highest elevation locations are lacking from reconstructions of past ice masses.

Safety and Feasibility of Pulsed Electric Field Ablation for Early‐Stage Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer Prior to Surgical Resection

open access: yesJournal of Surgical Oncology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Methods Surgery remains the standard of care for non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) but is applicable to ≤ 30% of patients. Pulsed Electric Fields (PEF) ablation uses short‐duration, high‐voltage electrical pulses to induce cell death without relying on thermal mechanisms.

Exploring the Relationship Between Land Use and the Food‐Water‐Energy Nexus: Insights From A Systematic Literature Review

open access: yesLand Degradation &Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As urbanization accelerates, cities face increasingly significant ecological challenges essential for sustainability. One of the primary manifestations of these challenges is the imbalance between food, water, and energy resources, often resulting in the irrational use of land.

Highly mobile pelagic species co‐occur with fine‐scale ocean fronts

open access: yesLimnology and Oceanography, EarlyView.
Abstract Coastal areas are an important source of food and a valuable tourism asset for communities, but also highly dynamic and heterogeneous environments. Understanding how marine species respond to the variability of their habitat is essential to sustainably manage coastal resources.

Anti‐Sticking Coatings for Imprint Tools Prepared by Initiated Chemical Vapor Deposition

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, EarlyView.
A branched perfluoro polyether acrylate monomer is polymerized for the first time by initiated chemical vapor deposition (iCVD) leading to a conformal and highly efficient anti‐sticking coating, as demonstrated by long‐term imprint tests and reduction of 73% of the water contact angle with the bare Ni substrate.

Sustaining the Shift: Mechanisms of Practice Continuation in Meat Analogue Consumption

open access: yesPsychology &Marketing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates factors influencing the ongoing consumption of contemporary plant‐based meat analogues (PBMAs), focusing specifically on products designed to mimic the taste, texture, and nutritional value of traditional meat products.
