The formate pseudo‐halide anion is strategically introduced at the buried interface to stabilize the intermediate phases formed during perovskite crystallization. The controlled crystallization enhances crystallinity and alleviates tensile strain, eliminating residual PbI2 near the buried interface.

Optimal perioperative fluid management: What is the strategy? [PDF]
Fluid therapy is a core concept in the management of perioperative patients for maintenance of intravascular volume and organ perfusion. The aim of perioperative fluid therapy is to keep patients at all times in the optimal volume loading, due to both ...

Mechanisms of Diffusional Nucleation of Nanocrystals and Their Self-Assembly into Uniform Colloids
We survey our research on modeling the mechanisms of control of uniformity in growth of nanosize and colloid particles. The former are produced as nanocrystals, by burst-nucleation from solution.

Electrostatics of Colloidal Particles Confined in Nanochannels: Role of Double-Layer Interactions and Ion-Ion Correlations [PDF]
We perform computational investigations of electrolyte-mediated interactions of charged colloidal particles confined within nanochannels. We investigate the role of discrete ion effects, valence, and electrolyte strength on colloid-wall interactions.

Thermally Induced Gelling Systems Based on Patchy Polymeric Micelles
A novel strategy to design thermally induced gelling systems with tunable material properties is reported. Polymeric mixed‐shell micelles displaying multiple thermosensitive patchy domains formed hydrogels by assembling into well‐entangled worm‐like network structures upon heating to body temperature. The patchy micelle design significantly affects the

Colloidal Gels: Equilibrium and Non-Equilibrium Routes [PDF]
We attempt a classification of different colloidal gels based on colloid-colloid interactions. We discriminate primarily between non-equilibrium and equilibrium routes to gelation, the former case being slaved to thermodynamic phase separation while the ...
