ABSTRACT Meckel's diverticulum rarely causes large bowel obstruction through a fibrous band, leading to sigmoid knotting and closed‐loop gangrene. In patients presenting with acute intestinal obstruction without prior abdominal surgery, this etiology should be considered.

Magnesium Deficiency Accelerates Gut Aging and Increases Susceptibility to Colitis
