Pleistocene occupation of the arid zone in Southeast Australia: Research prospects for the Cooper Creek-Strzelecki Desert Region [PDF]
Archaeological evidence for the presence of people in southeastern Australia as early as 40,000 years ago in environments substantially different from the Southeast Asian homeland of the initial colonists of Greater Australia has generated much ...

Extending an eco-evolutionary understanding of biofilm-formation at the air-liquid interface to community biofilms [PDF]
Growing bacterial populations diversify to produce a number of competing lineages. In the Pseudomonas fluorescens SBW25 model system, Wrinkly Spreader mutant lineages, capable of colonising the air-liquid interface of static microcosms by biofilm ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Aquatic beetles influence colonization of disparate taxa in small lentic systems
Structure of natural communities is shaped by both abiotic characteristics and the ongoing processes of community assembly. Important to this process are the habitat selection behaviors and subsequent survival of colonists, both in the context of ...

Migration and forests in the Peruvian Amazon: a review [PDF]
This paper reviews the literature on the links between migration and forests in the Peruvian Amazon. It highlights not only the complexity of the migrant–forest interface in Peru but also the relative lack of research on these dynamics.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.
