Tropical Land‐Use Change Disrupts Zeta‐Diversity Across Taxa
Global Change Biology, Volume 31, Issue 5, May 2025.We studied birds, dung beetles, and orchids across natural and human‐transformed habitats in the Colombian Andes to understand how land‐use change affects biodiversity. We found that deforestation simplifies ecological communities and reduces both rare and widespread species, especially orchids.
