Saliency Consistency-Based Image Re-Colorization for Color Blindness [PDF]
IEEE Access, 2020 For patients with color vision defects, owing to the destruction of cone cells and loss of function, some color information is lost, hence changing the originally transmitted information by the image.

Color consistency in the appearance of bleached fabrics. [PDF]
J Vis, 2020 Human observers are remarkably good at perceiving constant object color across illumination changes. However, there are numerous other factors that can modulate surface appearance, such as aging, bleaching, staining, or soaking. Despite this, we are often able to identify material properties across such transformations. Little is known about how and to

Image Color Consistency in Datasets: The Smooth-TPS3D Method [PDF]
Image color consistency is the key problem in digital imaging consistency when creating datasets. Here, we propose an improved 3D Thin-Plate Splines (TPS3D) color correction method to be used, in conjunction with color charts (i.e. Macbeth ColorChecker) or other machine-readable patterns, to achieve image consistency by post-processing.
