SID Symposium Digest of Technical Papers, 2012Abstract We present a novel RGBW AMOLED display that uses color‐down‐conversion layers to reduce power consumption. The proposed display is calculated to have a 20% reduction in the power consumption compared to a conventional RGBW display.
