Ultrasound Findings in Symptomatic HADD of the Hand and Wrist. A Case Series of 37 Patients

Ultrasound enables accurate diagnosis of hydroxyapatite deposition disease of the hand and wrist in patients with acute, non‐traumatic pain, typically in middle‐aged women. Characteristic calcifications, often in the resorptive phase, support diagnosis, while radiography may confirm findings without the need for advanced imaging.

The penile blood vessels arise from the internal pudendal artery. After the arcuate ligament the artery is usually called the main penile artery. Afterwards the vessel is divided into the dorsal penile artery, which is thin, and the cavernosal artery, which enter the corpus cavernosum on the supero-medial surface of the penis.

Incidental Detection of Portal Venous Gas During POCUS in a Neonate With Necrotizing Enterocolitis and Intestinal Perforation: A Case Report

Point‐of‐care ultrasound performed at the bedside identified hepatic portal venous gas in a critically ill neonate, prompting urgent evaluation and revealing intestinal perforation due to necrotizing enterocolitis. This case highlights the potential of POCUS to accelerate diagnosis when clinical signs are subtle or nonspecific.

Complaints Involving Sonographers: What Three Decades of Cases From A Public New Zealand Database Can Teach Us

Health consumer complaints to the New Zealand Health and Disability Commissioner involving sonographers are rare, totalling 15 in the last 31 years and averaging 1.5 cases per year over the last decade. A large proportion of complaints involve an undetected finding, obstetric examination and private setting.
