Assessment of vascularity with color Doppler ultrasound in gynecomastia
The aim of this study was to analyze the presence and type of vascularity with color Doppler ultrasound (CDUS) in gynecomastia, to describe gray-scale ultrasound (US) and CDUS features in different stages of gynecomastia, and to compare these findings with the characteristic US appearances of Tanner stages.A total of 108 breasts of 54 males aged 11-27 ...

ABSTRACT Doxorubicin‐induced cardiomyopathy (DIC) remains a dose‐limiting clinical challenge. This study reveals that cardiac vascular endothelial cells (CVECs) act as initial sensors of doxorubicin cardiotoxicity: circulating doxorubicin activates the cGAS‑STING pathway in CVECs, triggering NLRP3 inflammasome‑mediated pyroptosis and release of ...

Spectrum of Vertebral Artery Pathologies on Imaging: Case Series
Background: Vertebral artery pathologies are not as common on ultrasound examination. Careful ultrasound examination of the vertebral artery can provide useful information about the proximal brachiocephalic vessels as well as the intracranial portion of ...

This study uncovers that quercetin naturally targets mitochondria. By coordinating quercetin with Fe3+, we engineer an ultrasmall cascade nanozyme (MCN) with superoxide dismutase‐catalase activities. MCN crosses the damaged blood–brain barrier, scavenges mitochondrial ROS, prevents mitochondrial DNA leakage, and blocks the cGAS‐STING pathway, thereby ...

A DLN dataset was built to analyze MABS composition versus in vitro/in vivo osteogenesis and angiogenesis. An MLP neural network, taking BG morphological parameters as input, extracts bioactive features from these datasets. A rabbit tibial defect model then validates 4D‐printed MABS for adaptability and bone regeneration in critical defects.
