Low-Temperature Dyeing of Chemically Modified PET/Spandex Blends: A Sustainable Approach for Enhanced Dyeability and Color Fastness. [PDF]
Blends of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with spandex are widely used in sportswear and outdoor apparel. However, dyeing PET/spandex fabrics remains challenging due to the high energy required at elevated dyeing temperatures and persistent problems ...

In Situ Synthesis of a Double-Layer Chitosan Coating on Cotton Fabric to Improve the Color Fastness of Sodium Copper Chlorophyllin. [PDF]
Natural dye’s poor affinity for cotton and poor fastness properties still hinder its applications in the textile industry. In this study, a doubled-layered chitosan coating was cured on cotton fabric to serve as bio-mordant and form a protective layer on

We present an $O(\log^3\log n)$-round distributed algorithm for the $(Δ+1)$-coloring problem, where each node broadcasts only one $O(\log n)$-bit message per round to its neighbors. Previously, the best such broadcast-based algorithm required $O(\log n)$ rounds. If $Δ\in Ω(\log^{3} n)$, our algorithm runs in $O(\log^* n)$ rounds.

Fast Fourier Color Constancy [PDF]
We present Fast Fourier Color Constancy (FFCC), a color constancy algorithm which solves illuminant estimation by reducing it to a spatial localization task on a torus. By operating in the frequency domain, FFCC produces lower error rates than the previous state-of-the-art by 13-20% while being 250-3000 times faster.
