Modelling, Measuring and Compensating Color Weak Vision
We use methods from Riemann geometry to investigate transformations between the color spaces of color-normal and color weak observers. The two main applications are the simulation of the perception of a color weak observer for a color normal observer and

Spatial summation of individual cones in human color vision. [PDF]
The human retina contains three classes of cone photoreceptors each sensitive to different portions of the visual spectrum: long (L), medium (M) and short (S) wavelengths. Color information is computed by downstream neurons that compare relative activity

Genetic Testing as a New Standard for Clinical Diagnosis of Color Vision Deficiencies
Purpose The genetics underlying inherited color vision deficiencies is well understood: causative mutations change the copy number or sequence of the long (L), middle (M), or short (S) wavelength sensitive cone opsin genes.

Objective Mycophenolate Mofetil (MMF) use in limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc) is relatively uncommon due to the lower fibrotic burden and the predominance of the vascular complications. In vitro observations and clinical data from transplanted patients suggest a protective effect of MMF on endothelial function.

Region-based Skin Color Detection. [PDF]
Skin color provides a powerful cue for complex computer vision applications. Although skin color detection has been an active research area for decades, the mainstream technology is based on the individual pixels. This paper presents a new region-based

Hybrid nanogenerator (HNG) based on a zinc‐metal‐organic framework‐loaded fibrous film integrated with a hierarchically modified nylon film having micropatterns and micropores is fabricated via an electrospinning technique, and its electrical properties are optimized. The HNGs are incorporated into wearable garments and automobile systems for practical

Color Calibration for Colorized Vision System with Digital Sensor and LED Array Illuminator
Color measurement by the colorized vision system is a superior method to achieve the evaluation of color objectively and continuously. However, the accuracy of color measurement is influenced by the spectral responses of digital sensor and the spectral ...
