Colossal magnetoresistance oxides: phenomena and questions [PDF]

open access: yesPhilosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London. Series A: Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences, 1998
Some unusual electronic properties of doped manganites are described. The low temperature resistivity of the metallic ferromagnet has a large $T^2$ term. The residual resistivity can be much larger than the Mott maximum, and depends exponentially on spontaneous magnetization.

Escalated Phase Separation Driven Enhanced Magnetoresistance in Manganite/Iridate Epitaxial Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research
Phase separation in manganites leads to unique magnetic and electronic properties. 50% Ca‐doped LaMnO3 (LCMO), at the boundary of ferromagnetic (FM) and antiferromagnetic (AFM) states in La1‐xCaxMnO3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1), is an ideal system to study phase ...

Multiple thermal spin transport performances of graphene nanoribbon heterojuction co-doped with Nitrogen and Boron

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
Graphene nanoribbon is a popular material in spintronics owing to its unique electronic properties. Here, we propose a novel spin caloritronics device based on zigzag graphene nanoribbon (ZGNR), which is a heterojunction consisting of a pure single ...
