Colossal permittivity and dielectric relaxations in (La0.5Nb0.5) Ti1-O2 ceramics

Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2018
Abstract A series of La+Nb co-doped TiO2 (La0.5Nb0.5)xTi1-xO2 (0.25% ≤ x ≤ 5%) ceramics were prepared using a solid-state reaction method. Colossal permittivity (CP) (eʹ > 104) and low dielectric loss (tanδ  104 and tanδ 25 K at 1 kHz) was primarily related to EPDD polarization.

Colossal permittivity in niobium doped BaTiO3 ceramics annealed in N2

Scripta Materialia, 2018
Abstract Nb5 + and/or In3 + doped BaTiO3 ceramics were prepared by a conventional solid-state method, followed by annealing in N2. At the room temperature and 1 kHz, permittivity of Nb5 + doped BaTiO3 (BTNb) is up to 80,888 and its dielectric loss is as low as 0.03.

Capacitance scaling of grain boundaries with colossal permittivity of CaCu3Ti4O12-based materials

Solid State Sciences, 2015
Abstract Samples of copper-deficient CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) compared to the nominal composition, all synthesized via organic gel-assisted citrate process, show huge change of grain boundaries capacitance as deduced from a fit of an RC element model to the impedance spectroscopic data. The grain boundary capacitance is found to scale with the permittivity

Colossal permittivity and ultralow dielectric loss in (Nd0.5Ta0.5)xTi1-xO2 ceramics

Ceramics International, 2019
Abstract Giant permittivity ceramic is one of the most significant classes of material to realize the miniaturization and integration of a high-performance capacitor. In this paper, to realize good giant dielectric properties, the (Nd0.5Ta0.5)xTi1-xO2 ceramics (NTTO x = 0.005, 0.01, 0.03, 0.05) were synthesized by a standard conventional solid-state ...
