Changing cable identification colours
First IEE International Conference on Building Electrical Technology (BETNET), 2004As from 1st April 2004, electrical installations in the U.K. may use, for fixed wirings, the new harmonised cable core colours or the pre-existing colours but not both. However, BS7671:2001 (incorporating Amendments 1 & 2) requires any work commencing on site after 31 March 2006 should not use the old colours but to comply with the new colours in full.

The identity of the secretion has remained a mystery; indeed, there are few compounds capable of causing the darkening of hypophysectomized frogs.

Changes of colour appearance due to changes of shape of colour sample and background colour
Background is one of the important factors that affect colour appearance of samples. In general, a background colour induces colour appearance of a sample to shift towards the complementary colour of the background. VARIOUS species of Pisces, Amphibia and Reptilia exhibit reversible colour change according to lighting conditions. According to Parker1, Chelonia is the only order of Reptilia from which no example of this activity has been described. It is the purpose of this communication to record colour change in a tortoise (Chelodina longicolis).
