Accelerated Discovery of Topological Spin Phase Diagrams in CrSBr Magnets Via High‐Throughput Optimization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, we develop a high‐throughput algorithm that accelerates the elucidation of phase diagrams of topological spin textures using limited computational resources at high numerical accuracy. Applying this framework to the van der Waals magnet CrSBr, we unveiled a hierarchy of previously unknown topological textures (domain‐wall bimerons, bimeron chains,

Column Generation in the Primal-Dual Linear Programming Algorithm

open access: yes
We combine the primal-dual linear programming algorithm with Dinkelbach's Newton-type fractional programming method to solve large scale linear programming problems normally solved by column generation.

Full‐Field Damage Monitoring in Architected Lattices Using In situ Electrical Impedance Tomography

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In situ electrical impedance tomography (EIT) turns 3D‐printed, CNT‐infused architected lattices into full‐field damage‐imaging systems. Tunable Voronoi‐based geometries act as active sensing architectures, enabling conductivity maps to detect early‐stage damage and localise sequential ligament fracture before catastrophic failure.

A branch-and-price algorithm for a hierarchical crew scheduling problem. [PDF]

open access: yes
We describe a real-life problem arising at a crane rental company. This problem is a generalization of the basic crew scheduling problem given in Mingozzi et al. and Beasley and Cao.

Cockpit Crew Pairing Problem in Airline Scheduling: Shortest Path with Resources Constraints Approach

open access: yesInternational Journal of Industrial Engineering and Production Research, 2013
Increasing competition in the air transport market has intensified active airlines’ efforts to keep their market share by attaching due importance to cost management aimed at reduced final prices. Crew costs are second only to fuel costs on the cost list

Microfluidic Nano‐Assembly of Red‐Blood‐Cell (RBC) Lipids and Components for Engineering Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Engineered red blood cell‐derived extracellular vesicles (eRBCEVs) are synthesized via controlled microfluidic assembly from native RBC lipids, enabling tunable encapsulation of proteins, nucleic acids, nanoparticles, and viral vectors. The platform demonstrates reproducible nanoscale architecture, preserved membrane composition, and functional cargo ...

A Column Generation Algorithm For Common Due Date Scheduling [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
We consider the single-machine problem of scheduling n jobs to minimize the total weighted deviation from a given common due date, where the weights for early and tardy completion are asymmetric. First, we assume that the common due date is large.

Demand-Driven Scheduling of Movies in a Multiplex [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper describes a model that generates weekly movie schedules in a multiplex movie theater. A movie schedule specifies within each day of the week, on which screen(s) different movies will be played, and at which time(s).
