Influence of Geometric Design on Mechanical Performance of Auxetic Metastructure
Strategic geometric reinforcement transforms auxetic performance. This study evaluates 3D‐printed arrowhead metastructures, revealing that a modified design with local ring reinforcement suppresses premature failure to achieve superior energy absorption and structural efficiency.

Control of Polarization and Polar Helicity in BiFeO3 by Epitaxial Strain and Interfacial Chemistry
In BiFeO3 thin films, the interplay of interfacial chemistry, electrostatics, and epitaxial strain is engineered to stabilize homohelicity in polarization textures at the domain scale. The synergistic use of a Bi2O2‐terminated Aurivillius buffer layer and a highly anisotropic compressive epitaxial strain offers new routes to control the polar‐texture ...

Ferroelectricity in Antiferromagnetic Wurtzite Nitrides
We establish MnSiN2${\rm MnSiN}_2$ and MnGeN2${\rm MnGeN}_2$ as aristotypes of a new multiferroic wurtzite family that simultaneously exhibits ferroelectricity and antiferromagnetism with altermagnetic spin splitting. By strategically substituting alkaline‐earth metals, we predict new materials with coexisting switchable polarization, spin texture, and

Descriptive complexity theory initiated by celebrated Fagin's theorem aims to characterize complexity classes by the kind of logic necessary to express problems in the class. For many complexity classes such a characterization has been found; this includes the class NP that, according to Fagin's theorem, can be characterized by the monadic second order

For the Automata Theory Column, we have an article by B. Srivathsan on the reachability problem in timed automata. Ever since timed automata were introduced by Alur and Dill, they have been widely used in the verification of real-time systems. Their appeal comes from a simple definition that couples expressiveness with computational tractability.

Effect of Column Pressure on Column Efficiency
Nature, 1964IN a recent communication given by Amos and Hurrell1, the authors stated that it was difficult to obtain high efficiencies or adequate resolving power, when packed 0.25-in. external diameter (4 mm internal diameter) analytical chromatographic columns were used in association with thermal conductivity detectors.

Lower extremity biomechanics is the cornerstone of podiatric medicine and surgery. The foot and ankle act as the interface between the ground and proximal segments, mediating internal and external moments Although the medial longitudinal arch has been widely researched, the details of the lateral longitudinal arch are less extensively delineated.
