An Evaluation of the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act No 12 of 2004
The present dissertation will firstly focus on analysing the universal structure and essential elements of the actual phenomenon of corruption. On this basis it will following be examined, which specific problems arise from this structure in respect of ...

BioEISense is a microfluidic device with integrated impedance sensors, for real‐time, label‐free monitoring of S. aureus biofilms. In this study, the biofilm culture conditions were optimized to support sensitive and reproducible detection of biofilm formation and eradication under dynamic flow‐through conditions. The system was also validated for both

Probing Near‐Field EM Fluctuations in Superparamagnetic CoFeB With NV Quantum Dephasometry
We non‐invasively investigate the superparamagnetic spin dynamics of a 1.1 nm CoFeB layer by probing its near‐field EM fluctuations using NV centers‐based quantum dephasometry. Our findings are further supported by theoretical modeling and SQUID‐based magnetization characterization. These results provide critical insight into the magnetization dynamics

Negatively charged boron vacancy defects in hexagonal boron nitride promise near‐surface quantum sensing, but their internal spin transition rates are only partly understood. This work directly measures the defect's singlet‐state lifetime, 15(3) ns, using a nanosecond rise‐time dual‐pulse photoluminescence‐recovery method, and shows that high laser ...

Combating HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria: millennium development goal 6
The Millennium General Assembly was held at the United Nations in New York in September 2000, where a gathering of world leaders laid out the Millennium Declaration, calling for an end to conflict and support for democracy in all corners of the world ...
