Combinatorial Identities with Multiple Harmonic-like Numbers
Multiple harmonic-like numbers are studied using the generating function approach. A closed form is stated for binomial sums involving these numbers and two additional parameters.

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the diagnostic yield and utility of universal paired tumor–normal multigene panel sequencing in newly diagnosed pediatric solid and central nervous system (CNS) tumor patients and to compare the detection of germline pathogenic/likely pathogenic variants (PV/LPVs) against established clinical referral criteria for cancer ...

Lerch-harmonic numbers related to Lerch transcendent
Harmonic numbers and generalized harmonic numbers have been studied in connection with combinatorial problems, many expressions involving special functions in analytic number theory and analysis of algorithms.

ABSTRACT Purpose Although not always achieved, complete chemotherapy‐induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) control is the conventional goal of CINV prophylaxis. In this two‐center, mixed‐methods study, we sought to understand the preferences of adolescent patients and family caregivers for CINV control endpoints.

Weighted Lattice Paths Enumeration by Gaussian Polynomials
The Gaussian polynomial in variable $q$ is defined as the $q$-analog of the binomial coefficient. In addition to remarkable implications of these polynomials to abstract algebra, matrix theory and quantum computing, there is also a combinatorial ...

Human and constructive proof of combinatorial identities: an example from Romik [PDF]
It has become customary to prove binomial identities by means of the method for automated proofs as developed by Petkovšek, Wilf and Zeilberger. In this paper, we wish to emphasize the role of "human'' and constructive proofs in contrast with the ...

On Fibonacci (k,p)-Numbers and Their Interpretations
In this paper, we define new kinds of Fibonacci numbers, which generalize both Fibonacci, Jacobsthal, Narayana numbers and Fibonacci p-numbers in the distance sense, using the definition of a distance between numbers by a recurrence relation according to

Supernomial coefficients, polynomial identities and $q$-series
$q$-Analogues of the coefficients of $x^a$ in the expansion of $\prod_{j=1}^N (1+x+...+x^j)^{L_j}$ are proposed. Useful properties, such as recursion relations, symmetries and limiting theorems of the ``$q$-supernomial coefficients'' are derived, and a ...

Prevalence and Trajectory of Household Material Hardship Among Children With Advanced Cancer
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Families of children with advanced cancer living in poverty experience inferior outcomes including poor parent mental health and worse child quality of life. Household material hardship (HMH: food, housing, transportation, and/or utility insecurity) is a modifiable poverty exposure—and potential intervention target—that ...
