Joule self‐heating enabled oxygen transport and coupled methane reactions in a La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3‐δ hollow fiber membrane reactor

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Mixed‐conducting ceramic hollow fiber membranes are a versatile platform for oxygen separation, value‐added chemical production, and oxy‐combustion. Because oxygen permeation is thermally activated, these systems typically rely on bulky, energy‐intensive furnaces that suffer from low efficiency and large thermal inertia.

Developing slurries for carbon capture: From synthetic gas mixtures to flue gas

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Deep eutectic solvent (DES)‐based systems have recently emerged as promising alternatives to conventional liquid sorbents for CO2 capture due to their tunable properties and potential for enhanced mass transfer. In this work, two DES‐based slurry systems previously developed for CO2 capture, one aqueous and one non‐aqueous, were further ...

Hole‐Activated Lattice Oxygen Enables Pt‐Free Propane Dehydrogenation by Eliminating the Hydrogen Recombination Bottleneck

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Trace Mg doping into gallia–alumina generates hole‐type oxygen species that accelerate hydrogen recombination, eliminating the need for Pt promotion. The fully oxide‐based catalyst resists sintering under repeated regeneration, outperforming benchmark PtSn and CrOx catalysts with exceptional stability over 30 dehydrogenation–regeneration cycles ...

An Autonomous Large Language Model‐Agent Framework for Transparent and Local Time Series Forecasting

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Architecture of the proposed large language model (LLM)‐based agent framework for autonomous time series forecasting in thermal power generation systems. The framework operates through a vertical pipeline initiated by natural language queries from users, which are processed by the LLM Agent Core powered by Llama.cpp and a ReAct loop with persistent ...
