CALCULATION OF THE ACTIVITY OF AN URANIUM SAMPLE IRRADIATED BY THERMAL NEUTRONS FOR THE INITIAL ANALYSIS IN RADIOLOGICAL PROTECTION USING MONTE CARLO SIMULATION

open access: yesMomento, 2018
To carry out the analysis of radiological protection and degree of danger of a practice in a facility that uses ionizing radiation, an analysis is made from computational calculations, both of gamma and neutron radiation, which are those of greater reach

Additively Manufactured Porous Ceramics as Tunable Dielectrics for Passive Temperature Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Porous ceramic lattices, 3D‐printed from a multicomponent oxide ink, are integrated with LC resonators for passive wireless temperature sensing. By tuning porosity, the dielectric properties and RF response are engineered to produce distinct resonant frequency shifts with temperature. The results establish a structure‐driven approach to customizing the

Rapid Room‐Temperature Ethanol Sensing in Bi2MoO6/rGO Heterostructures: Weak Adsorption‐Driven Charge Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This work establishes Bi2MoO6/rGO heterostructures as a mechanism‐guided platform for high‐performance room‐temperature ethanol gas detection by showing that modest adsorption, in conjunction with dynamic interfacial band modulation, enables rapid charge‐transfer.

Microfabrication of Soft Millirobots Propelled by Low Voltage Electrohydraulic Actuators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Manual layer‐by‐layer assembly is replaced by wafer‐level MEMS batch fabrication for compliant polymer‐based electrohydraulic actuators. The microfabricated devices integrate sacrificially defined microcavities, Parylene‐C‐sealed inlets, and multilayer polymer–metal films.
