The study of air fuel ratio for open furnace MILD combustion of biogas on bluff-body burner [PDF]
Economical fuel cost is very critical in the heating industry. Lean combustion with high air fuel ratio (AFR) is normally practiced by the industry. Low air fuel ratio or rich combustion will result in unburned hydrocarbons (UHC).

The formation of nonmetallic inclusions (NMIs) was investigated in this study, carrying out immersion tests for 30 min at a temperature of 1600°C with liquid high‐silicon electrical steel (Si ≈ 3 mass‐%) and different MgO–C refractories. Conventional MgO–C refractories were considered, as well as MgO–C refractories containing MgO–C recyclate and ...

EDX elemental map of the pre‐oxidized MgO–steel cermet anode cross section after electrolysis. The development of inert anodes for aluminum electrolysis remains challenging due to the high corrosivity of cryolite‐based melts at 950°C–1000°C. This study investigates the corrosion and process behavior of a carbon‐free MgO–steel cermet anode derived from ...

An improved grey wolf algorithm and its localization research in complex indoor environments
In complex indoor environments, traditional localization methods often suffer from non-line-of-sight (NLOS) and multipath problems, which lead to unsolvable or incorrectly solved mathematical localization models, thereby limiting localization accuracy. A

Visualization of the homogeneous charge compression ignition/controlled autoignition combustion process using two-dimensional planar laser-induced fluorescence imaging of formaldehyde [PDF]
The paper reports an investigation into the HCCI/CAI combustion process using the two-dimensional PLIF technique. The PLIF of formaldehyde formed during the low-temperature reactions of HCCI/CAI combustion was exciting by a tunable dye laser at 355nm ...

A carbon‐free, as‐sintered MgO–steel cermet anode, fabricated via cold isostatic pressing using MgO–C refractory recyclate, was evaluated under laboratory‐scale K‐cryolite electrolysis at 800°C. Operation at this reduced temperature, combined with the electrolyte's limited electrical conductivity, led to an increase in cell voltage.
