Chemical looping combustion : cold model hydrodynamics and modeling of methane combustion
A novel interconnected fluidized bed (IFB) reactor with a bypass line for chemical looping combustion (CLC) has been developed to overcome the problem of short residence time of oxygen carrier in the air reactor. A comprehensive hydrodynamic study was carried out on the cold-flow model of the proposed reactor.

Scalable Electrochemical Concrete Fabrication and Closed‐Loop Recycling
The electrochemical‐driven recycling strategy establishes a reversible concrete material flow by extracting Ca, Si, Al, and Fe from concrete waste and regenerating functional feedstocks. These reversed products are reassembled into new concrete, which re‐enters service and ultimately returns to waste, enabling a closed‐loop, waste‐origin, and low ...

This study elucidates how steric hindrance in amines creates a dual effect in CO2 capture: it thermodynamically favors the reaction by shifting the pathway from carbamate to alkyl carbonate formation, increasing capacity and lowering regeneration heat, while simultaneously slightly slowing the kinetics.
