Nonfamilial Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum: A Case Report With Review of Selected Literature

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT A 44‐year‐old woman with classic cutaneous manifestations of nonfamilial PXE presented with multiple 3 to 10 mm yellowish papules coalescing into well‐demarcated, cobblestone‐like plaques. Previous ophthalmologic evaluation revealed retinal angioid streaks, while no cardiovascular involvement was reported.

Micro‐ and Macrostructure Effects on Hydrogen Release Using 3D‐Printed Reactor‐Catalysts

open access: yesChemical Engineering &Technology, Volume 49, Issue 6, June 2026.
Not by its cover: We show here that the internal structure of a hydrogen generation reactor can govern the rates of reaction through a combination of efficient mass transfer and pore access, which can be optimized using metal 3D printing. ABSTRACT We report the design, fabrication, and testing of 3D‐printed Al–stainless steel reactor‐catalyst monoliths

Bioenhancer‐Driven Modulation of Membrane Dynamics Improves B‐Vitamin Uptake in Caco‐2 Cells

open access: yesChemFoodChem, Volume 2, Issue 2, June 2026.
Natural bioenhancers such as extracts from ginger, turmeric, black pepper, and spearmint increase the uptake of vitamins B1, B5, B6, and B7 in Caco‐2 cells. Micellized formulations further increase efficacy. These findings indicate that altered membrane fluidity contributes to enhanced cellular absorption, providing a new route to improve vitamin B ...
