Abstract The Kelvin‐Helmholtz instability (KHI) mediates the viscous‐like solar‐terrestrial interaction by generating magnetopause surface waves that quickly become non‐linear. Basic theory predicts the locally most‐unstable linear wave dominates.

Abstract High‐altitude optical meteors initiating above 150 km are exceedingly rare, with confirmed observations largely confined to the Leonids. Using the Meteor and ionospheric Irregularity Observation System, we recorded a bright 43‐Cassiopeiids fireball with heterogeneous material. Ion Cyclotron Waves Associated With Ionospheric Outflow at Jupiter

Abstract The mechanism driving ion outflow from Jupiter's auroras remains to be determined. H+ ${\mathrm{H}}^{+}$ outflow has been observed with highly field‐aligned pitch angles consistent with acceleration by high‐altitude electrostatic potential structures.
