Distinct Rhythmic Competencies Identified via Internet‐Based Assessment

Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, Volume 1562, Issue 1, August 2026.
A set of rhythm tasks administered via the internet showed evidence for distinct rhythmic competencies relating to perception versus production as well as sequence memory‐based perception compared to beat‐based perception. These findings replicate lab‐based results.
