Update of the Xylella spp. host plant database – Systematic literature search up to 30 June 2024

Abstract This scientific report provides an update of the Xylella spp. host plant database, aiming to provide information and scientific support to risk assessors, risk managers and researchers dealing with Xylella spp. Upon a mandate of the European Commission, EFSA created and regularly updates a database of host plant species of Xylella spp.

Variability in Nutritional Profile of Five Commelina Forage Species as a Function of Season and Agroecology in Semiarid Conditions of Ethiopia

Forage nutritional composition varies with season and agroecological conditions, influencing feed quality and ultimately livestock productivity. Commelina species grow alongside food crops and are widely used as forage for livestock in the Konso zone of southern Ethiopia.

On Interchange Complexes in Commelina diffusa Burn F. from South Eastern Nigeria.

A study of meiosis in the PMC's of five populations of C. diffusa (2n=2x=30) belonging to three sub-species, diffusa diffusa, diffusa aquatica and diffusa montana, revealed varying degrees of chromosomal associations suggesting the presence of interchange complexes in these populations.
