Does a Specialized Niche Market Vegetable Processor Enjoy Bargaining Power?
ABSTRACT Agribusiness companies may achieve competitive advantage through specialization within niche markets. One such niche is the fresh‐cut fruit and vegetable market, which has been steadily growing in Germany. This study examines whether the specialization of a German fresh‐cut producer grants it with market power within this niche market.

Cu3P nanoparticles anchored on MXene via Ti─O─P bonds exhibit enhanced stability and resist agglomeration during the electrochemical semi‐hydrogenation of C2H2 to C2H4. Ti3C2/Cu3P achieves a record energy efficiency of 23.0% at 0.2 A cm−2 and stable operation in a 4 cm2 MEA for over 100 h at 1.0 A.

Commodity prices, commodity currencies, and global economic developments [PDF]
In this paper we seek to produce forecasts of commodity price movements that can systematically improve on naive statistical benchmarks, and revisit the forecasting performance of changes in commodity currencies as efficient predictors of commodity ...

ABSTRACT This paper explores Swedish consumers' protein preferences by estimating the willingness‐to‐pay (WTP) for minced meat and plant‐based proteins in pasta sauce from an in‐store experiment (n = 206) and an online discrete choice experiment (n = 517). On average, the WTP was highest for minced meat.

Let us consider an alternative perspective on climate change: The sum of solar radiation and heat generated by human activity result in a net energy input of 1.96 times that of the Sun on the Earth's surface. The expanding global population is expected to exacerbate this issue. Potential solutions are proposed, including replacement and heat recycling.

A mechanochemical Kolbe–Schmitt reaction of disodium catecholate enables the synthesis of mono‐ and dicarboxylated catechols at low temperature and CO2 pressure. Directly derivatizing the resulting carboxylic acid and phenolic moieties in the obtained mixture provides plasticizer blends with efficiencies competitive to commercial benchmarks.

Mechanically Triggered Chemical Recyclable Polyethylene‐Like Materials
Polyethylene‐like copolymers with benchmark properties are prepared by embedding latent cyclobutene mechanophores to overcome PE's end‐of‐life limits. The mechanophores are inert in service but are selectively opened by solvent‐free ball milling to yield well‐defined telechelic oligomers.
