The Economics of Commonly Owned Groundwater When User Demand Is Perfectly Inelastic [PDF]
This paper provides a theoretical analysis of the common-pool resource dilemma in extracting nonrenewable groundwater resources when water demand is perfectly inelastic.

Modelling the effect of learning and evolving rules on the use of common-pool resources [PDF]
The extend to which common-pool resources are used and managed sustainably depends highly on incentives. Incentives influence the behaviour of individuals with respect to natural resource management and are determined by institutional arrangements ...

Co-primary inter-operator spectrum sharing over a limited spectrum pool using repeated games
We consider two small cell operators deployed in the same geographical area, sharing spectrum resources from a common pool. A method is investigated to coordinate the utilization of the spectrum pool without monetary transactions and without revealing ...

This study developed a bioprinted co‐culture system embedding rat pancreatic islets and Scenedesmus sp. microalgae spatially defined in close vicinity. Red light was found optimal to ensure microalgal photosynthesis while maintaining islet viability and functionality. A tailored co‐culture medium supported both cell types.

Metal‐free carbon catalysts enable the sustainable synthesis of hydrogen peroxide via two‐electron oxygen reduction; however, active site complexity continues to hinder reliable interpretation. This review critiques correlation‐based approaches and highlights the importance of orthogonal experimental designs, standardized catalyst passports ...

Common-pool resources, livelihoods, and resilience: Critical challenges for governance in Cambodia [PDF]
Common-pool resource management is a critical element in the interlocked challenges of food security, nutrition, poverty reduction, and environmental sustainability. This paper examines strategic policy choices and governance challenges facing Cambodia's

Non‐Invasive Brain Targeted Delivery of Cannabidiol for Alleviating Neuroinflammatory Disease
The glucose‐functionalized nanoparticles (GNPs) are developed for the brain‐targeted delivery of cannabidiol (CBD). GNPs bypass the blood‐brain barrier (BBB) via glucose transporter‐1 (GLUT‐1) and release CBD in response to reactive oxygen species (ROS).

Regulation and Deregulation: Property Rights Allocation Issues in De Regulation of Common Pool Resources [PDF]
Rights-based institutions have been adopted for certain natural resources in order to more effectively mitigate the losses of the common pool. Past central government (command and control) regulation has not proved satisfactory.
