Results on common fixed points [PDF]
We establish common fixed point theorems related with families of self mappings on metric spaces. Our results extend, improve, and unify the results due to Fisher (1977, 1978, 1979, 1981, 1984), Jungck (1988), and Ohta and Nikaido (1994).

On common fixed point theorems [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to extend a recent result of S.A. Husain and V.M. Sehgal [Bull. Austral. Math. Soc. 13 (1975), 261–267]. The condition that the function should be continuous in Husain and Sehgal, op. cit., is replaced by a semicontinuity condition.

Common Fixed Points of Commuting Mappings [PDF]
Let X X be a dendroid and S S an abelian semigroup of continuous monotone self-mappings of X X . A point x ϵ X x\epsilon X is fixed under S S if g ( x ) = x g(x) = x for all

Common fixed points for semigroups of mappings [PDF]
Let X be a compact convex subset of a strictly convex Banach space. Let S be a Hausdorff topological semigroup which is either left amenable or left reversible. Then for any generalised nonexpansive (jointly) continuous action of S on X, X contains a common fixed point of S.

On Characterizations of Fixed and Common Fixed Points
In this paper we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of fixed and common fixed points of self-mappings of metric spaces. Our results generalize, improve, and unify some results of Chang, Jungck, Fisher, and Dien.

Common Fixed Points for Multimaps in Metric Spaces [PDF]
AbstractWe discuss the existence of common fixed points in uniformly convex metric spaces for single-valued pointwise asymptotically nonexpansive or nonexpansive mappings and multivalued nonexpansive, "Equation missing"-nonexpansive, or "Equation missing"-semicontinuous maps under different conditions of commutativity.

On common fixed points of mappings [PDF]
The object of this paper is to study common fixed points of mappings of a complete metric space into itself. The results obtained are generalizations of Ray Theorems.

Common fixed point theorems and applications [PDF]
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the existence of common fixed points for mappings in general quasi‐metric spaces. As applications, some common fixed point theorems for mappings in probabilistic quasi‐metric spaces are given. The results presented in this paper generalize some recent results.

Compatible mappings and common fixed points (2) [PDF]
A common fixed point theorem of S.L. and S.P. Singh is generalized by weakening commutativity hypotheses and by increasing the number of functions involved.

Common fixed points and partial orders [PDF]
It is observed that certain theorems on common fixed points may be derived from a theorem on partially ordered sets.
