A CMOS Q-Enhancement Bandpass-Filter For Use In Paging Receivers [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Paging receivers often have to work in a dense\ud signal environment. This poses high demands on the preselection\ud filter. One of the most difficult aspects is the large\ud image rejection demand, which only can be satisfied by use\ud of a narrow-band ...

Mixed‐Metal Promotion in a Manganese‐Molybdenum Oxynitride as Catalyst to Integrate C─C and C─N Coupling Reactions for the Direct Synthesis of Acetonitrile from Syngas and Ammonia

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Glide symmetry applied to printed common-mode rejection filters

open access: yes, 2023
In this article, we present a novel application of glide symmetry to differential lines with common-mode (CM) rejection filter properties. Two different topologies are investigated. First, glide symmetry is applied to a pair of differential lines where ground-connected mushrooms are employed as a CM rejection structure.

When Poor Exciton Dissociation Limits Photocurrents in Organic Solar Cells: Why Low Offset Non‐Fullerene Acceptor Blends Can't Be Efficient

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The energetic offset between the donor and the acceptor components in organic photoactive layers is central to the tradeoff between photovoltage and photocurrent losses. This Perspective covers the most important issues surrounding this topic in non‐fullerene acceptor blends, from the difficulty of accurately determining state energies and driving ...
