Integrated Transformer-Coupled Balun Bandpass Filters With an Optimal Common-Mode Rejection Ratio [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology, 2012
This paper describes a compact transformer-coupled balun bandpass filter design based on integrated circuit technology. Using a planar transformer with high-density fully symmetrical wiring not only greatly reduces the component size, but also provides a superior balance at the differential output ports.

Balanced homodyne detection with high common mode rejection ratio based on parameter compensation of two arbitrary photodiodes

open access: yesOptics Express, 2015
A balanced homodyne detector, with a maximum common mode rejection ratio and clearance of 75.2 dB and 37 dB, is experimentally obtained with two arbitrary photodiodes of the same model. On the basis of self-subtraction photodetector scheme, we divide the influence of photodiodes on the common mode rejection ratio into two parts, including magnitude and

100-Gbit/s PDM-QPSK coherent receiver with wide dynamic range and excellent common-mode rejection ratio

open access: yesOptics Express, 2011
We report the design and fabrication of a hybrid-integration-type coherent receiver. We optimize the receiver building blocks, and achieve a -25-dB common-mode rejection ratio and a 20-dB signal input power dynamic range.

A Broadband, High Common-Mode Rejection Ratio Instrumentation Amplifier [PDF]

open access: yes2021 Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (APEMC), 2021
An operational amplifier based instrumentation amplifier (IA) with a common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) independent of resistance tolerances is presented in this paper. The CMRR is determined by the operational amplifier characteristics. The IA shows a high CMRR up to 100 kHz.

Common-Mode Driven Synchronous Filtering of the Powerline Interference in ECG

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
Powerline interference (PLI) is a major disturbing factor in ground-free biopotential acquisition systems. PLI produces both common-mode and differential input voltages.

Multimode interference filter to solve degradation on coupler common-mode rejection [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
After quantifying degradation of a common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) 3dB-coupler due to excitation of TE01 mode, a novel compact circuit including multimode interference (MMI) coupler+bend+MMI+filter (CBF) is proposed.

A 0.3 V, Rail-to-Rail, Ultralow-Power, Non-Tailed, Body-Driven, Sub-Threshold Amplifier

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
A novel, inverter-based, fully differential, body-driven, rail-to-rail, input stage topology is proposed in this paper. The input stage exploits a replica bias control loop to set the common mode current and a common mode feed-forward strategy to set its

A High TCMRR, Inherently Charge Balanced Bidirectional Front-End for Multichannel Closed-Loop Neuromodulation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
This paper describes a multichannel bidirectional front-end for implantable closed-loop neuromodulation. Stimulation artefacts are reduced by way of a 4-channel H-bridge current source sharing stimulator front-end that minimizes residual charge drops in ...

Current-Reused Current Feedback Instrumentation Amplifier for Low Power Leadless Pacemakers

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
This paper proposes a cardiac electrogram acquisition and stimulation integrated circuit (IC) for single-chamber leadless pacemaker applications. The proposed IC features self-determining pacing by acquiring an intracardiac electrogram without an ...
