open access: yesAustralian Journal of Politics &History, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article examines how the Korean War has been remembered in Australia despite its historically marginal place in the nation's military heritage. Seeing like a citizen: Experimental evidence on how empowerment affects engagement with the state

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Political Science, EarlyView.
Abstract Building a strong and effective state requires revenue. Yet, in many low‐income countries, citizens do not make formal payments to the state or forego engaging with the state altogether due to vulnerability to opportunistic demands by state agents. Co‐operatives and public policy: A scoping review

open access: yesAnnals of Public and Cooperative Economics, EarlyView.
Abstract We sketch a first‐ever map of the scholarly literature on co‐operatives and public policy from a selection of English‐language studies published since 2000 using a scoping review methodology. We find that while co‐operatives are often framed as solutions to societal problems, few scholars draw on formal public policy theories.
