Community Networks or Networked Communities?
Social Science Computer Review, 2001The article provides an overview of the state of the art in community networks. Forty community networks were reviewed. A protocol was developed to guide the evaluation of each site. The protocol covered the types of information currently provided and whether the network contributes to the social capital of the community.

Community Comparison in Communication Networks
2010 International Conference on Advances in Social Networks Analysis and Mining, 2010If we draw the virtual topology representing the communication in networks, we observe that the structure is similar to those of the social networks. Social networks are these networks with the characteristic relating densely some entities than others. These dense zones are called communities.

A Simulink Network Communication
2019This paper describes TCP/IP communication blocks in the program MATLAB/Simulink. The developed blocks have been modified and they support implementing any type of communication protocol by using Dynamic-link library. The communication protocol can be easily changed. In addition, a sending buffer can be implemented in a case of high frequency.
