The AMSC mobile satellite system: Design summary and comparative analysis [PDF]
Mobile satellite communications will be provided in the United States by the American Mobile Satellite Consortium (AMSC). Telesat Mobile, Inc. (TMI) and AMSC are jointly developing MSAT, the first regional Mobile Satellite Service (MSS) system. MSAT will

Pressure Dependent Integration of White Light Emission in SiQDs@EuZIF‐8 Metal Organic Frameworks
A tunable photoluminescent material was developed using encapsulation of silicon quantum dots and europium ions into ZIF‐8 enabling multiple emission centers and pressure‐responsive white light emission. Increasing pressure induces ligand‐metal charge transfer (LMCT) and metal‐metal charge transfer (MMCT) within ZIF‐8 pores, leading to aggregation ...

The highly efficient and ultrafast thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) behavior of the bipolar derivative of carbazole and triazine stems from the high‐lying triplet states (hot TADF), which has a direct impact on the overall triplet harvesting of guest‐host mixtures.

Communications platform payload definition study, executive summary [PDF]
Large geostationary communications platforms have been investigated in a number of studies since 1974 as a possible means to more effectively utilize the geostationary orbital arc and electromagnetic spectrum and to reduce overall satellite ...

Chiral Metasurfaces with Multidimensional Tunability for Optical Chiral States
A novel bilayer perovskite chiral metasurface enables tunable transitions between BIC‐associated vortex centres and circularly polarized states via rotational symmetry control. Breaking rotational symmetry and applying in situ rotation to the upper layer allows precise, omnidirectional tuning of C points in momentum space. This evolution forms a Möbius‐

TiN epilayers grown by molecular‐beam epitaxy offer reflectivity comparable to Au films but with superior thermal stability. When coupled with InSe, the InSe/TiN heterostructure exhibits remarkable enhancements in both photoluminescence and second‐harmonic generation compared to SiO2.
