A generalized transmultiplexer and its application to mobile satellite communications [PDF]
A generalization of digital transmultiplexer technology is presented. The proposed method can realize transmultiplexer (TMUX) and transdemultiplexer (TDUX) filter banks whose element filters have bandwidths greater than the channel spacing frequency ...

Tracking systems for satellite communications
Satellites in nominally geostationary orbits possess diurnal motion which causes the apparent position of the spacecraft to wander in the sky as seen by an earth station. If uncompensated this causes a variation in the performance of the communications link. The motion of the satellite therefore has to be tracked by the earth station antenna.

A new heavy‐atom‐free, donor–acceptor‐type organoboron luminophore has been synthesized, which exhibits red room‐temperature phosphorescence (RTP) in the crystalline state. Furthermore, the amorphous solid generated by grinding shows green thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF), displaying distinct mechanochromic luminescence (MCL) through ...

Here, recent progress is highlighted in colloidal magnetoplasmonic hybrid nanomaterials, with a focus on chiral plasmonics. Metal nanocrystals with intrinsic chiroptical features can lead to a combination of chiral plasmonics and magneto‐optics effects when interacting with the magnetic counterpart, offering a foundation for systematically designing ...

Enhanced THz Emission From Ultrathin Ta/Fe/Pt Spintronic Trilayers
Ultrathin Ta/Fe/Pt spintronic trilayers on MgO(100) substrates generate intense terahertz (THz) emission under femtosecond laser pulse excitation. Constructive interference of the emitted THz waves from Ta and Pt layers is maximized through crystallographic engineering of the Ta layer into a high‐resistivity fcc phase and optimization of the trilayer ...
