Chiroferromagnetic Quantum Dots for Chiroptical Synapse (ChiropS)

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Chiroptical activity is enhanced by up to 0.003 in the g‐factor through the induction of ferromagnetism in quantum dots. A chiroptical neuromorphic synapse, composed of chiroferromagnetic quantum dots, generates different synaptic weights from multiple wavelengths and circularly polarized light.

The Selection of Altitude and Inclination for Remote Sensing Satellites [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 1995
The success of a satellites mission is largely depended upon the choice of an appropriate orbit. In the case of a remote sensing satellite which observes the Earth, there exits an optimum solar elevation angle depending on the mission.

An updated analysis of satellite quantum-key distribution missions [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Quantum key distribution (QKD) is a cryptographic method enabling two parties to establish a private encryption key. The range of communication of ground-based QKD is limited to an order of 100km, due to in-fibre attenuations and atmospheric losses, and the development of quantum repeaters remains technologically challenging.
