Small Molecule‐Induced Alterations of Protein Polyubiquitination Revealed by Mass‐Spectrometric Ubiquitome Analysis

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Accepted Article.
Small molecules which alter protein ubiquitination are emerging as therapeutics due to their ability to modulate targets previously deemed undruggable. These compounds comprise PROTACs, molecular glue degraders and DUB inhibitors, among others. However, methods for the proteome‐wide monitoring of compound‐induced changes in protein polyubiquitination ...

Analysis of plant metabolomics data using identification‐free approaches

open access: yesApplications in Plant Sciences, EarlyView.
Abstract Plant metabolomes are structurally diverse. One of the most popular techniques for sampling this diversity is liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC‐MS), which typically detects thousands of peaks from single organ extracts, many representing true metabolites.

ETHIOLOGY OF COMMUNITY ACQUIRED URDVARY INFECTIONS. A NINE YEAR STUDY

open access: yesKasmera, 2000
BACKGROUND: The frequency of uropathogens depends on the geographic location, age, sex and procedence of the patients (inpatients and outpatients). In order to determine prevalence of pathogens in the urinary tract, a retrospective analysis was performed

Noradrenergic and cholinergic innervation of the normal human heart and changes associated with cardiomyopathy

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Autonomic nerves are crucial in cardiac function and pathology. However, data on the distribution of cholinergic and noradrenergic nerves in normal and pathologic human hearts is lacking. Nonfailing donor hearts were pressure‐perfusion fixed, imaged, and dissected. Left ventricular cardiomyopathy samples were also obtained.
