Hypertrophic scar formation is driven by excessive mitochondrial fission in wound macrophages, which we discover is governed by a novel AURKB‐DRP1(Ser616) axis. The study develops a targeted therapy using cRGD‐decorated extracellular vesicles to deliver the natural compound Asiaticoside specifically to macrophages.

Durable Thin‐Film Porous Transport Electrodes for High Current Density PEM Water Electrolysis
Water electrolysis using porous transport electrodes with sputter‐deposited, ionomer‐free thin films of rutile IrO2 catalyst suppresses Ir dissolution by >10x over other forms of IrOx. The rutile IrO2 catalyst prepared by this readily scalable electrode synthesis method provides stable cell operation at 3 A cm−2 while using low Ir loading (0.4 mg Ir cm−

Doehl et al. discovered an adaptive neuroimmune mechanism that induces itch in tick‐exposed guinea pigs, enabling rapid tick removal. This itch‐induced tick removal (IITR) is mediated by an adaptive cellular immune response and is independent of IgG, IgE, or TRPV1.

Decoding Trap States in Working 2D Perovskite Multi‐Functional Devices
Illustration of the photoluminescence spectrum and energy‐level landscape governing trap‐mediated carrier dynamics in 2D F‐PEAI photodetectors. A novel approach capturing dynamic trap occupation and retrapping in devices under operating conditions, directly links defect energetics to carrier transport and enhanced photoresponse in multifunctional ...

Community assembly across Subarctic landscapes
This thesis delves into the mechanisms driving community assembly, focusing on the impacts of environmental filtering and dispersal limitation on species richness and composition. I explore diversity patterns in vascular plants, soil fungi, and arthropods across two subarctic landscapes and at different spatial scales.
