Quantum Gravitational Bremsstrahlung, Massless versus Massive Gravity [PDF]
The massive spin-2 quantum gauge theory previously developed is applied to calculate gravitational bremsstrahlung. It is shown that this theory is unique and free from defects. In particular, there is no strong coupling if the graviton mass becomes small.

ABSTRACT Collaborative governance networks are increasingly central to local climate action, yet research offers limited understanding of the personal, psychological, and informal factors that sustain engagement within them. This paper examines how such networks facilitate meaningful and lasting participation through an in‐depth study of Malmö Works, a

Robust Control Using a Matrix Converter to Enhance Wind Turbine Systems
This study uses a more efficient and effective solution to improve the operational performance of a wind turbine‐based power system. This system uses a doubly fed induction generator and relies on a matrix converter and fractional‐order proportional–integral controller.

A current deviation control parameter tuning method to suppress subsequent commutation failure
If a subsequent commutation failure occurs in the line commutated converter-based high voltage direct current (LCC-HVDC) transmission system, it will have a seriously negative impact on the safe and stable operation of the AC-DC hybrid power grid. Aiming

A non-associative quantum mechanics
A non-associative quantum mechanics is proposed in which the product of three and more operators can be non-associative one. The multiplication rules of the octonions define the multiplication rules of the corresponding operators with quantum corrections.

Abstract Although consumers who engage in the same sustainable behaviors objectively have the same environmental impact, this research finds that people's perceptions of that impact are subjective and systematically shaped by political ideology. Seven studies demonstrate that conservatives tend to perceive their sustainable actions to have less of a ...

Study on lightning overvoltage and commutation failure in UHV AC/DC hybrid system
Due to the high UHV AC/DC transmission line tower, the working voltage amplitude on the wire is large, causing lightning accidents. The paper first analyses the impact of lightning strike point on lightning overvoltage of 1000 kV UHV transformer ...

Conditions for interoperability [PDF]
Interoperability for information systems remains a challenge both at the semantic and organisational levels. The original three-level architecture for local databases needs to be replaced by a categorical four-level one based on concepts, constructions ...

CSR disclosure and investment efficiency in MENA countries: The moderating role of CSR committee
ABSTRACT Corporate social responsibility disclosure (CSRD) is often recognized as a transparency mechanism that allows companies to communicate their commitment to CSR. However, CSRD may also exacerbate agency conflicts. This study addresses these two contrasting perspectives by investigating the impact of CSRD on investment efficiency and exploring ...
