Commutative pseudo-equality algebras [PDF]

open access: yesSoft Computing, 2016
Pseudo equality algebras were initially introduced by Jenei and $\rm K\acute{o}r\acute{o}di$ as a possible algebraic semantic for fuzzy type theory, and they have been revised by Dvurečenskij and Zahiri under the name of JK-algebras. In this paper we define and study the commutative pseudo equality algebras.

On computing local monodromy and the numerical local irreducible decomposition

open access: yesTransactions of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 13, Issue 1, December 2026.
Abstract Similarly to the global case, the local structure of a holomorphic subvariety at a given point is described by its local irreducible decomposition. Geometrically, the key requirement for obtaining a local irreducible decomposition is to compute the local monodromy action of a generic linear projection at the given point, which is always well ...

SMARANDACHE NON-ASSOCIATIVE RINGS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
An associative ring is just realized or built using reals or complex; finite or infinite by defining two binary operations on it. But on the contrary when we want to define or study or even introduce a non-associative ring we need two separate algebraic ...

ON REPRESENTATIONS OF COMMUTATIVE BCK-ALGEBRAS

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 1999
A commutative BCK-algebra has the relative cancellation property if for \(x,y\geq a\), \(x*a= y*a\) implies that \(x=y\). Any upwards directed commutative BCK-algebra has this property. The authors consider imbeddings of such algebras into Abelian lattice-ordered groups, and universal groups for the BCK-clans derived from the BCK-algebras.

On the additive image of zeroth persistent homology

open access: yesTransactions of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 13, Issue 1, December 2026.
Abstract For a category X$X$ and a finite field F$F$, we study the additive image of the functor H0(−;F)∗:rep(X,Top)→rep(X,VectF)$\operatorname{H}_0(-;F)_* \colon \operatorname{rep}(X, \mathbf {Top}) \rightarrow \operatorname{rep}(X, \mathbf {Vect}_F)$, or equivalently, of the free functor rep(X,Set)→rep(X,VectF)$\operatorname{rep}(X, \mathbf {Set ...

Rational points on even‐dimensional Fermat cubics

open access: yesTransactions of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 13, Issue 1, December 2026.
Abstract We show that even‐dimensional Fermat cubic hypersurfaces are rational over any field of characteristic not equal to three, by constructing explicit rational parameterizations with polynomials of low degree. As a byproduct of our rationality constructions, we obtain estimates for the number of their rational points over a number field and ...

Commutative Algebra

open access: yes, 2011
Commutative algebra is a rapidly growing subject that is developing in many different directions. This volume presents several of the most recent results from various areas related to both Noetherian and non-Noetherian commutative algebra.

On the automorphisms of the power semigroups of a numerical semigroup

open access: yesTransactions of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 13, Issue 1, December 2026.
Abstract If H$H$ is a numerical semigroup (i.e., a cofinite subset of the non‐negative integers closed under addition), then the collection of all non‐empty subsets of H$H$ forms a semigroup P(H)$\mathcal {P}(H)$ under the sumset operation induced by addition in H$H$.

Trends in Commutative Algebra

open access: yes, 2004
In 2002, an introductory workshop was held at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute in Berkeley to survey some of the many directions of the commutative algebra field. Six principal speakers each gave three lectures, accompanied by a help session,
