Commutativity of Rings with Constraints on Commutators, II [PDF]

open access: possibleResults in Mathematics, 2000
We establish commutativity of rings satisfying certain conditions of the form [x, y] = [x, y]p(x, y), where p(X, Y) is a polynomial in two non-commuting indeterminates, depending on x and y. We also give several applications.

Finite Commutative Rings and Their Applications

2002
Finite Commutative Rings and their Applications is the first to address both theoretical and practical aspects of finite ring theory. The authors provide a practical approach to finite rings through explanatory examples, thereby avoiding an abstract presentation of the subject.

Injective quotient rings of commutative rings

1979
INTRODUCTION In the broadest sense, this is a study of commutative rings which satisfy the (finitely) pseudo-Froben[us (or (F)PF) condition: All (finitely generated) faithful modules generate the category mod-R of all R-modules. These rings include: Pr[[fer rings, almost maximal valuation rings, self-injective rings, e.g.
