About Tietze's non commutative theorem
1999Summary: Let \(\pi:{\mathcal A}\to{\mathcal B}\) be a surjective morphism between the \(C^*\)-algebras \({\mathcal A}\) and \({\mathcal B}\). Using the technic of quasi-central approximate units we give what is, we hope, a new short proof of the existence of a surjective morphism \(\overline\pi\) between the multiplier algebras \({\mathcal M}({\mathcal

Superposition Theorem Proving for Commutative Rings
1998Commutative rings are very common both in mathematics and in computer science, as they encompass the basic algebraic properties of addition, subtraction and multiplication for numbers like the integers or the reals. The problem with commutative rings and similar algebraic theories is that their axioms create large search spaces for theorem provers.
