REALIZABILITY PROBLEM FOR COMMUTING GRAPHS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Australian Mathematical Society, 2016
We investigate properties which ensure that a given finite graph is the commuting graph of a group or semigroup. We show that all graphs on at least two vertices such that no vertex is adjacent to all other vertices is the commuting graph of some semigroup.

Non-commuting graph of the dihedral group determined by Hosoya parameters

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2022
Hosoya introduced the concept of graph terminologies in chemistry and provide a modeling for molecules. This modeling leads to predict the chemical properties of molecules, easy classification of chemical compounds, computer simulations and computer ...

Between the enhanced power graph and the commuting graph

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, 2022
AbstractThe purpose of this note is to define a graph whose vertex set is a finite group , whose edge set is contained in that of the commuting graph of and contains the enhanced power graph of . We call this graph the deep commuting graph of . Two elements of are joined in the deep commuting graph if and only if their inverse images in every central ...

Commuting Conjugacy Class Graph of The Finite $2-$Groups $G_n(m)$ and $G[n]$ [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mahani Mathematical Research
‎Suppose $G$ is a finite non-abelian group and $\Gamma(G)$ is a graph with non-central conjugacy classes of $G$ as its vertex set. Two vertices $L$ and $K$ in $\Gamma(G)$ are adjacent if there are $a \in L$ and $b \in K$ such that $ab = ba$.

The Total Graph of a Commutative Semiring [PDF]

open access: yesAnalele Universitatii "Ovidius" Constanta - Seria Matematica, 2013
Abstract We introduce and investigate the total graph of a commutative semiring with non-zero identity. The main purpose of this paper is to extend the definition and some results given in [2] to a more general semiring case.

Improving mobility and infrastructural connectivity on college campus for commuting students: a case study from the US

open access: yesUrban, Planning and Transport Research, 2022
As contemporary colleges and universities continue to undergo unprecedented growth, more and more students commuting to campus face parking and physical infrastructural connectivity problems.

Graphs defined on groups [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Group Theory, 2022
‎This paper concerns aspects of various graphs whose vertex set is a group $G$‎ ‎and whose edges reflect group structure in some way (so that‎, ‎in particular‎, ‎they are invariant under the action of the automorphism group of $G$)‎.

Some results on characterization of finite group by non commuting graph [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions on Combinatorics, 2012
The non commuting graph of a non-abelian finite group $G$ is defined as follows: its vertex set is $G-Z(G)$ and two distinct vertices $x$ and $y$ are joined by an edge if and only if the commutator of $x$ and $y$ is not the identity.
