REALIZABILITY PROBLEM FOR COMMUTING GRAPHS [PDF]
We investigate properties which ensure that a given finite graph is the commuting graph of a group or semigroup. We show that all graphs on at least two vertices such that no vertex is adjacent to all other vertices is the commuting graph of some semigroup.

Some results on characterization of finite group by non commuting graph [PDF]
The non commuting graph of a non-abelian finite group $G$ is defined as follows: its vertex set is $G-Z(G)$ and two distinct vertices $x$ and $y$ are joined by an edge if and only if the commutator of $x$ and $y$ is not the identity.
