Commutating time calculations for machines using thyristor-assisted commutation

Proceedings of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, 1976
A calculation of the commutating time for machines using thyristor-assisted commutation is as important to these machines as the calculation of current-reversal curves for conventional d.c. machines. New factors enter into the determination of the inductance of a commutating coil, particularly an inductance component attributable to a main-pole-axis ...

Generalized equal-time commutators

Il Nuovo Cimento A, 1972
An expansion of causal distributions is proposed which shows explicitly the structure of these distributions in the « equal-time » limit. It is shown that such an expansion always exists for matrix elements of a commutator in a local axiomatic field theory.

Non-commutative BTZ space-time

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2014
A non-commutative model of BTZ space-time is introduced using deformed relations in phase space. Consequences of this on the classical BTZ solution are discussed.

Equal-Time Commutator in a Solvable Model

Il Nuovo Cimento A Series 10, 1967
An equal-time commutator in the Lee model is examined. It is found that a related sum rule does not have the canonical value. On the other hand, in the corresponding zero-energy theorem the canonical value is correct.

Line inductance measurement by using commutation time in line commutated converters

Electrical Engineering, 2009
Finding line inductance using wiring diagrams of the network is usually difficult or even impossible. In general, line inductance has to be measured in a simple nondisruptive way without service interruption. Several line inductance measurement techniques have been suggested previously, but they suffer from a number of limitations.
